Senses Fail - Landslide (Lyrics) [High Quality]

Lyrics Below! ~~~~~~~~~~~ I've gotta start livin' Cause my life's passing me by I'm a wreck, I'm unraveling You're in the front row as I'm struggling The spotlight shines showing everyone Imperfect lines I tried to cover up. I was born into a landslide Now my hearts a perfect stone It's a paper weight for bad ideas Cause I always fly too close I'll melt the ice caps in the Arctic sea Making a boardwalk out of Philly streets New Jersey becomes the new Atlantis Ringing in a new age of romances (So I can feel alive again) I was born into a landslide Now my hearts a perfect stone It's a paper weight for bad ideas Cause I always fly too close, to the sunshine It will burn my eyes The sun is burning out my eyes I've gotta stop living like a tornado Uprooting everything that gets too close before it's roots get to grow. I was born into a landslide Now my hearts a perfect stone It's a paper weight for bad ideas Cause I always fly too close, to the sunshine It will burn my eyes The sun will burn my eyes I've gotta start livin' Cause my life's passing me by

Fundraising Made Fun - Seven Great Fundraiser Ideas for Your School or Church

!±8± Fundraising Made Fun - Seven Great Fundraiser Ideas for Your School or Church

Does your church or school group have an upcoming trip or special event and you need ideas for fundraising? This article explores some of the best and most effective fundraising ideas, that are also FUN and can involve your entire congregation or school. These ideas are tried and true and can be held year after year or in some cases several times per year with great results. We have also tried to focus on some of the newer creative fundraising ideas that involve having your congregation or school create unique items that can be sold at fundraisers. People love hand-crafted gifts and are happy to help with fundraising when they are getting something unique and that will last.

(1) Christmas Wreaths - Easy to Make, Easy to Sell: This can involve your congregation or school getting involved to help make a beautiful looking Christmas wreath and it's easy to do! Just use circular plywood cut to form the wreath base and attach overlapping evergreen branches, then decorate using pinecones, ribbons, bells and other ornaments which can be obtained quite inexpensively through a local craft store. Then promote your wreaths after Church services, through school flyers, etc. These are great sellers!

(2) Sell Christian Tee Shirts: In our unbiased opinion, we do think selling Christian Tee Shirts makes a very nice and unique sale item that people really like and that will last! More info available here on selling Christian Tee Shirts for fundraising events.

(3) Cookbook Sales: These work great at our church and again it's a unique gift idea that will last and be used for years! Just collect the best recipes from your congregation (and everyone is always willing to contribute their best recipes), then find a local printer who will typically reduce their printing fee for a fundraising event based on the number of cookbooks ordered. This type of publishing has really come down in price and the cookbooks can be printed fairly inexpensively.

(4) Collect Used Printer Cartridges and Used Cell Phones: Although not a hand-crafted gift idea, this can be a quick way to raise funds by collecting these unused items (which doesn't cost anything) and selling them to companies who purchase then resell the products. For example, pacebutler and other companies will pay you per phone collected, and there are similar companies who purchase used printer cartridges such as freerecycling.

(5) Pancake Breakfasts: This is also a nice time to socialize with members of the congregation and more often others in the community that will come out for these events. It's also nice when the pastor is involved serving meals and helping out.

(6) Bake Sales: Here we also wanted to address a newer idea of selling cookie dough - we don't have this idea on our list because we don't think it's very personable and it's just kind of boring!! Instead, sell the finished product (i.e., have a bake sale and use some of the ideas from your cookbook sales discussed above). People will respond better to buying a cake or baked item than having to be stuck with cookie dough!

(7) Tree of Lights - Another Holiday Favorite: This is a beautiful idea where you have people pay each for a light on your Church or community Christmas tree which could represent a loved one passed or other family member, perhaps someone overseas that they are thinking about, etc. Then the community or church lights the tree at a ceremony and all the lights come on with everyone in attendance. Makes a nice social event too.

We hope you've been inspired by some of the ideas, and for more information on selling Christian Tee Shirts for Fundraising events, you can find out more on our web site.

Homemade Pancake Mix to Store

!±8± Homemade Pancake Mix to Store

Store bought pancake mix is easy to make and probably the most popular way that people make pancakes at home. The truth is, however, that it's not difficult to make your very own homemade pancakes. To make things even easier in the future you can also make a large quantity of your mix to store in the cupboard. This makes it so the next time you make pancakes it will be just as easy as using a store bought mix.

What you need to make the mix:

10 cups of all-purpose flour (3 lbs.)

2 1/2 cups of instant nonfat dry milk

1/2 cup of sugar

1/4 cups of baking power

2 tablespoons of salt

Put all of these ingredients into a large bowl and mix them all together. Make sure they are evenly mixed so it looks uniform. Put the mixture in a sealed container and store it in a cool, dry place in your house. The mixture should stay good for six to eight months and will make about 13 cups of your pre-made mix.

To make your pancakes:

Use these ingredients-

2 cups of your newly made pancake mix

1 cup of water

1 egg

2 tablespoon of oil

Mix all of the ingredients above in a large bowl with a wire whisk or a fork till it is smooth. Grease your pan and cook your pancakes over medium-high heat. Use about a ¼ cup of batter per pancake. This makes eight (4 inch) pancakes or four large waffles. Then just sit down and enjoy your very own pancakes at home.
